About Illinois government/politics. The Dem party is predictably liberal, but the IL GOP is very hard to figure out. I have no idea what the state party stands for. They send up lousy moderate candidates or provide NO support to conservatives. So, of course, an IL GOP-er will become an Obie-One cabinet member.
